Following a highly successful career with some of the UK's largest companies and in the UK Parliament.
Rosemary Parr founded the Global PA Association & Training Academy in 2007, which was launched at the BT Tower in April 2007, supported by Sir Christopher Bland (former Chairman of BT plc).
In the last 14 years the Global PA Association has established itself as the global leader in the training and development of executive assistants, personal assistants, secretaries, office managers, administrators and virtual assistants.
Rosemary has travelled the world extensively in the last 12 years delivering motivational and productive training programmes for clients. Her work has taken her to Taiwan, Brunei, Hong Kong, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Singapore, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai, Australia and Switzerland to name but a few.
Rosemary recognised the need for professional development for EAs and PAs while working as the Executive Assistant to Sir Christopher Bland (Chairman of BT plc 2001-2007). In 2003 the BT PA Network was established by Rosemary to bring together this vital workforce sector, motivate and inspire and offer them professional development opportunities.
The network was extremely successful and celebrity networking events were held regularly at the BT Tower with PA guests from BT's top customers. Speakers included Will Carling, Angela Mortimer, Dr Hilary Jones and Ellen McArthur.
She is frequently interviewed by the media about women entrepreneurs, working mums and the role of women in the workplace and has featured on BBC World Service, The Times, Sunday Times and other publications.
